What is the Live Free Fund?
Atlas's "talent pipeline" provides an array of services and resources to intellectual entrepreneurs engaged in all aspects of the freedom battle. The Live Free Fund helps individuals participate through network programs and events offered both by Atlas and our partners worldwide with similar missions and goals. Through practical skills training and resource development, Intellectual Entrepreneurs can return to their own organizations with new tools and renewed inspiration to Tear Down the Walls. Below are just two of Atlas's products in the talent pipeline offering.

Training Programs
Think-Tank MBA
Our two-week Think-Tank MBA residential training program is the most thorough and intensive management training course available for think-tank entrepreneurs, managers, executives and other individuals who operate within free market public policy organizations. Seasoned facilitator, Rainer Heufers, leads participants through interactive exercises and discussions. The Atlas leadership team provides extensive one-on-one mentoring to help each participant develop a business plan for their organization which builds upon the key teachings of Think-Tank MBA. Participants graduate with a well-written strategic plan to guide their organization, as well as a solid understanding about the key aspects of running a think-tank including:Program Planning and Evaluation FundraisingMarketingOrganizational StructureFinancial Management The hands on curriculum teaches participants to listen, think and clearly communicate. Unlike narrow technical skills that can rapidly become obsolete, "learning how to learn" is key to the Think-Tank MBA curriculum. Combined with field trips to events such as American baseball games and collaborations in cultural night skits, the participants also develop one of the most important resources available: a close-knit freedom network of colleagues that share their ideas, goals and principles.

If so, then the Atlas Think-Tank 101 program may be right for you.This two-day program, offered in conjunction with Atlas's annual Freedom Dinner, provides a mix of both management and intellectual ideas to introduce aspects of the free market think-tank industry. The two-pronged approach of management and ideas cultivation is designed to help participants gauge their understanding and commitment to working as intellectual entrepreneurs. Management Overview: Leading experts in the freedom network, as well as successful intellectual entrepreneurs from award-winning think-tanks provide an introduction to the essentials of management. Instead of offering a "how to" curriculum, this program explains the key importance of the elements in the institutional design process. Participants learn why it is important to do a thorough market analysis; why it is vital to develop a solid mission; why a strategic communication plan is essential, and what resources are needed to build an organization. Ideas Discussion and Exploration:Participants are provided with pre-assigned readings which serve the basis for an intensive, two-hour, formal discussion. Led by an expert facilitator, participants are introduced to a time-honored, replicable discussion format through which they can share their ideas, explore issues, and discuss any aspect of the literature of liberty that they choose.
